Awww…No Fireworks in Lafayette or Louisville? Come on down to Arvada!
We have a great show every year, and the crowd’s a lot of fun too. People of all ages getting patriotic together and having fun for free!
This has been going on for 30 years – isn’t it time you joined in?
Come early and visit Old Towne Arvada, check out the Classic Car show, there’ll be music and concession stands. Then, as the skies darken and the day cools into a lovely Colorado summer evening, find your spot and get comfortable for a show that will last about 1/2 hour.
Where: Stenger/Lutz Sports Complex, on 58th Ave., west of Kipling. And free parking too. What more could you want?
But please – leave the fireworks to the professionals. Private fireworks are prohibited in Arvada.
Here’s the link to all the details of Arvada’s Fourth of July celebration!
And here’s my post from last year about different ways that Coloradans will celebrate Independence Day.
And if you’ve never been to Arvada, you might want to read my post, How to Pronounce Arvada. Then, you’re ready to come join in the fun!
I’ve got my Independence Day playlist ready, starting with Ray Charles, and maybe I’ll put on the Independence Day movie and watch it with the hubby tonight.
Have fun everyone, and stay safe! Don’t forget to think about how valuable our freedoms are here in America, and why our nation was established in the first place.

I write posts on real estate issues and local events in the Denver metro area, especially those *communities between Denver and Boulder, as a public service. My hope is to give people an idea of the ‘flavor’ of our community, in case they’re new or moving to the Denver area.
I am a residential real estate agent, happily helping folks buy a house or sell a house in the beautiful and friendly *suburbs northwest of Denver.
